''Death Grips'' is the debut extended play by experimental hip hop group Death Grips. It was released for free on March 8, 2011 through the band's website. While the release is considered to be an EP by many fans (a notable exception being Boxenstien), ''Death Grips'' was released as a .zip file with no track listing.
==Background==
After forming on December 21, 2010, in Sacramento, California, Death Grips recorded their first track, "Full Moon (Death Classic)". On March 8, 2011, Death Grips released the song, along with a video and a free self-titled EP. The EP consists of 6 tracks, several of which were later renamed and released on their debut mixtape, ''Exmilitary''.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFmZ6WDkuj0 )〕 Some websites mention the ''Exmilitary'' track "Blood Creepin (Grave Grips)" as being included, however, most remaining downloads and sources do not include the track.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK24rifXWQs )〕
Following the release of ''Exmilitary'' on April 25, 2011, the EP was removed from the band's website. However, "Full Moon (Death Classic)" and "Face Melter (How To Do Impossible Things)" remained available for free for a short time. On April 27, 2011, "Full Moon (Death Classic)" was released as a single through iTunes.
